I’ve been experimenting with some new designs, exploring the idea of "local area stamps" for native plants and animals.
This is an Eltham Platypus Stamp. It still amazes me there’s a local platypus population living in Diamond Creek, in Naarm (Melbourne's) outer reaches. Something so elusive, sharing the same waterways we walk along every day. These small works are a way of marking the ecologies that exist alongside us, not as mascots, but as part of the lived fabric of a place.
